This OK Nozzle, designed exclusively for draft beer, was developed over a three-year period starting in 2014 as part of a Japanese government-supported manufacturing project. The original purpose of this nozzle was to use fine bubbles to help clean draft beer dispensing systems. However, we also found that the beer became noticeably smoother and more flavorful. We believe that the ultra-fine bubbles (nano bubbles) may contribute to this mellower taste. Please see the “Product” page in https://oknozzle.com/ for details. This nozzle has been on sale since April 2019.

Why does beer taste milder and more flavorful?
Curious about the reason behind this change, we asked AIST (National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology) to conduct an independent analysis.
Their investigation included:
• Floating tests using Pocky sticks
• Foaming tests using Mentos
• Electron microscope analysis
The results suggested that introducing fine bubbles may cause measurable changes in the beer.
One of the most interesting observations came from the Pocky floating test shown below. In this test, Pocky sticks were used as simple indicators of buoyancy changes in the beer.

Hydrogen Water using 60 L/min OK Nozzle
Nanojet Japan Co., Ltd. is using our nozzles for developing a hydrogen-rich water making apparatus. The density of hydrogen water becomes 3 ppm with this apparatus. The nozzle is attached with the ferrule type joint.
